Random Thursday

Chugging through That's a Fact Jack: A Collection of Utterly Useless Information [Updated] by Harry Bright and Jakob Anser and learning more and more about the odd world we live in!!

Next month I'll have some different things for you guys for Thursdays! But this little book has been a BIG help over the past two years!!

"The bristled toothbrush originated in China around the year 1498. The bristles, fixed to bamboo or bone handle, were neck hairs from Siberian boars."

They basically cleaned their teeth with pig hairs?!! EWWWW!!!!

"Toilet paper was invented by the Chinese. In 1391, the Bureau of Imperial Supplies began producing 720,000 sheets of toilet paper a year for exclusive use by the emperor. Each sheet measured two feet by three feet."

It pays to be king! Or emperor. And daaaaaaamn! That's some big paper! Makes you wonder...LOL!
