Fireborn Blog Tour

Hey all! I have here a special Q&A with Keri Arthur for her newest series releases, Fireborn! See my review here! It was a really incredible read! I was so thankful to be apart of this tour and have read the book!

Q. What's it like to live in Australia?

KERI: Aside from the fact that it’s so far away from any other country, it’s fabulous! Of course, I live here, so I would say that.  :)

I think I love it because Australia is a place of extremes--whether we’re talking about the countryside, the animals, or the weather itself--there are things here in Australia that you’d never see anywhere else in the world. And while we are one of the youngest countries settled by Europeans, we are one of the oldest continents. This land of ours is a wild and beautiful place--and much of it is desert!

Q. Who are some of your favorite authors to read in your down time?

KERI: My all time favourite authors are James Herbert and Dick Francis, but they don’t put out a lot of books these days (the latter because he is, unfortunately, dead  L). I don’t get a lot of time to read thanks to the writing schedule, but when I do, I want something fun--and my go-to genre for that is mostly regency romance. I love authors like Anne Gracie, Julia Quinn, and Eloisa James. But I also listen to a lot of audio books in the car, and my number one favourite in that situation in Matthew Reilly -- the Scarecrow and Mother rock!

Q. Who has been your favourite heroine from all the many and wonderful books you've written? Or favourite character, if not heroine?

KERI: Generally, when I’m asked this question, I’ll always say the character I’m working on at the moment, simply because I’m spending so much time in their ‘head-space’ and if I didn’t like them, I’d be in trouble writing-wise! But I’ll always have a soft spot for Riley Jenson--it was her series that broke me into mainstream publishing, and made me a NYT bestseller.

Q. Describe Fireborn in 3 adjectives.
KERI: Only three? Geez....

Supernatural, action, heat.

Thanks again Keri for taking the time to answer these questions!
