Waiting on Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly blog post by Jill over at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights releases we're eagerly awaiting.

Moving on down my list of books, which with new releases it's slowly dwindling. There might be a few other books I want but I have to read the first ones before deciding if I want to continue with the series. Such as my current read.

Anyway...my next book is The Mammoth Book of Paranormal Romance 2 edited by Trisha Telep.

I LOVE these anthologies. I know a few people say they don't always care for anthologies, which is fine. I know there are only a handful of authors that I actually read who are in these books. But sometimes they introduce me to new authors. The stories are usually always pretty good. Especially with these Mammoth anthologies. I really enjoy these!

Because it's an anthology there isn't much of a description as to what the book will be about. Also the topic is too far and wide. And even though I LOVE these books, they're kind of hard to get. I think I've had to order all of them so far. The release dates are always different based on every website. Book Depository has is coming out in late November, Barnes and Noble has it for some day in November, Amazon has it coming out in October and Borders does as well. It's always hard to find out which date is real.

For sanity's sake I'm going with Amazon's date since it's in October.

This exciting follow-up to the successful Mammoth Book of Paranormal Romance contains more than twenty stories to take you to another time and place. Including the best names in the field, this collection is filled with mythical beasts, magical creatures of all shapes and sizes, handsome ghosts, angels, and mortals with extra-sensory perception that play out their extraordinary desires. It includes stories from Lara Adrian, Ava Gray, Karen Chance, Gail Carriger, S.J. Day, and many more.

  3. I actually just ordered three copies from Book Depository! There are two versions, I think (one UK, one US), and it's the UK one that you can buy now at the Book Depository.
